How to raise a complaint about a neighbouring property or tenants

Rightmove is a property advertising website used by estate and letting agents. We are not an estate agent ourselves and are not directly involved in the sale, letting, or management of properties.

As we are not a governing or regulatory body, we do not have the authority to investigate complaints or take enforcement action against landlords, tenants, or property agents.

If you wish to make a complaint about a neighbouring property or its tenants and you do not know who the landlord is, we recommend contacting your local council, councillor, or MP for advice and support.

If you know who the landlord or managing agent is, you should contact them directly and follow their complaints process.

If the matter involves criminal activity, anti-social behaviour, or there are concerns about your safety, please contact the appropriate authorities, such as the police or your local council, as soon as possible.
