Will I see this option on every property?
No. Multi-Applicant Leads are only available on selected property listings. If the agent supports this feature, you'll see the option to create or join a household when making an enquiry.
How do I create a household?
When submitting an enquiry, tell us you're moving with one or more other adults and you'll be able to invite them to join your household.
How do people join my household?
People you've invited must choose to accept the invitation. They won't be added automatically.
What information can household members see?
Household members can see each other's names, but not personal details.
Can agents contact household members?
Yes. If a household member's details are included in an enquiry, the agent may contact them about the property.
Can I choose whether to include my household in an enquiry?
Yes. You can choose to send an enquiry:
- Just for yourself, or
- On behalf of your household
Will I know if an enquiry is sent on my behalf?
Yes. You'll receive a notification if another household member sends an enquiry that includes your details.
Can I leave a household?
Yes. You can leave a household at any time.
Can household owners remove members?
Yes. Household owners can remove members from the household if needed. If you're removed, you'll need a new invitation to rejoin.
What if I don't recognise someone in my household?
If you're the household owner, you can remove them.
Can I belong to more than one household?
No. You can only be a member of one household at a time.
What happens if I don't respond to an invitation straight away?
You can join later, but only enquiries submitted within the last seven days may be linked to your details when you join.
Can I stop people sending me invitations?
You won't be added to a household unless you choose to accept an invitation. If you don't want to join, simply ignore the invitation.
