How do I remove my sold house price images?
To protect property information from being removed without the homeowner's permission, we'll need to verify that you own the property before we can remove the images.
What do I need to provide?
Please provide one of the following documents as proof that you own the property. The document must show the owner's name and the address of the property:
- Title Register
- Title Deeds
- Formal written correspondence from your solicitor confirming that the property was or is owned by you
We'll also need one form of ID for the property owner. The name on the ID must match the name shown on the proof of ownership document:
- Driving licence
- Passport
How do I request the images are removed?
Please email ID@rightmove.co.uk with the subject ‘Sold Price Images’ and include:
- Your proof of property ownership
- Your chosen form of ID
- A link to the Sold House Price record you would like the images removed from
Once we've received the required information and verified your request, we'll remove the images within 7 days.
Can I remove specific images?
We're only able to remove all images associated with the Sold House Price record. We can't remove individual images while leaving others visible.
For example, we wouldn't be able to remove only the exterior photographs while keeping the interior photographs.
Can the images reappear?
If the property is currently being advertised on Rightmove, the images may reappear on the Sold House Price record when the live listing is removed.
Images may also appear again if the property is advertised on Rightmove in the future.
